what to expect at cbc
We've compiled a list of frequently asked questions (and answers!) here that visitors often have when checking out a new church. Please feel free to Contact CBC with any questions that we didn't get to answer below.
-
Where can I park?
We have a large parking lot with plenty of spaces. There are designated handicap and first time visitor spots.
-
Do I need to bring a bible?
You are welcome to bring your own Bible, use one of the Bibles provided in the back of the Sanctuary or download and use the Bible app and access it on your phone.
-
What should I wear?
There is no strict dress code—it's more important to us that you join us for worship, than what you wear!
-
What are the worship services like?
We have three different services each Sunday morning -- more information can be found about each service on our Worship page.
-
Can I take communion?
All believers from all denominations are welcome to participate in communion; being a member of Chancellor Baptist is not required.
-
Are children welcome during worship?
YES! Children are welcome to participate in the worship service with their families, but we do offer caring Infant, Toddler, and Preschool classes for both services. We also offer Children’s Church for K-4th grade after music in the 10:30 a.m. service, and Sunday School classes for K-12th grade at 9:00 a.m.
-
IS CBC wheelchair accessible?
Yes. Both the building and the sanctuary are wheelchair accessible. Please contact us if you need any additional special accommodations.
